We have become familiar with the fact that elderly pop and Hollywood stars have a great figure, snow-white teeth, and a taut face. The latter is the result of surgery, to be more specific – a facelift.
However, such plastic surgery has long been done not only by celebrities, but also by ordinary women who lead a measured, unobtrusive life. This is made possible by the fact that the cost of such operations has decreased noticeably in recent years.
Despite great affordability, many women today doubt the need for plastic surgery. However, at the age of 50-60-70, our face changes so that in order to regain self-confidence, it becomes necessary to do something about the appearance that has lost its former attractiveness.
There are other doubts as well. For example: “This Hollywood star was probably lifted by some super expensive surgeon. I can’t afford it. Therefore, my face will not be the same as hers”.
In fact, this is not the case. The quality of the lift does not depend on how expensive the surgeon is. The main factor is the condition of your skin. If you took care of it, then everything will be fine.
Here are 6 women in their 50s-60s who decided to get a facelift and rejuvenation. All examples taken from the Instagram of the world-renowned New York plastic surgeon Andrew Jacono.
Patient #1 – 59 years old
The woman was very bothered by her pimples and a drooping facial oval, which gave her face an indistinct contour and a general feeling of fatigue.
The patient underwent a face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, earlobe reshaping, and a minor lip correction. As a finishing touch, a laser treatment was performed on the skin, making it smooth and radiant, eliminating discoloration and turgor irregularities.
Patient #2 – 60 years old
The biggest problem this woman has is the indistinct facial oval, the papillae and very pronounced nasolabial folds which give the face a very negative expression. The intervention was much less than on the first patient but she noticed the transformation of her face and overall appearance.
The surgeon corrected the oval of the face, making the contour crisp, as well as plasticization of the neck, the skin of which had become flabby. The cosmetic innovations included a change in hair shade from platinum-gray blonde, which emphasizes age, to golden, which is more rejuvenates.
Patient #3 – 53 years old
In the “before” photo, the deformation of the oval shape due to drooping tissues of the zygomatic area and deep nasolabial folds are well visible. Because of this the face looks tired and unaesthetic, sagging of the area under the eyes is intensified. The woman complained that she was constantly told that she looked tired and haggard.
The patient underwent a facelift, which eliminated excess fatty tissue and lifted the facial muscles, so that the skin was not stretched on purpose, but the face became smooth. A lower eyelid plasty was also performed and filled with fatty tissue, which helped eliminate the sunken-eye effect.
Patient #4 – 67 years old
As with many elderly women, this woman had pronounced laxity of the tissues of the face and neck, which combined with excess tissue gave a turkey neck effect. She was very uncomfortable and complexed that she could not wear her hair pulled back, which emphasized her age-related changes.
She underwent a facelift that removed the papillae, swollen oval, and flabby neck that had been treated with liposuction. As a result of the renewed oval and glowing skin, the woman was incredibly transformed and looked much younger than her actual age.
Patient #5 – 64 years old
A woman has wanted a facial surgery for a long time, but was afraid that she would not look like herself, was afraid of the unnatural look and the effect of stretched skin. Surgery was effective, but very delicate. The main problem was flabbiness of the skin, which led to the prolapse of the facial tissues. Upper eyelids began to hang over the eye, the oval lost definition.
A face and neck lift and blepharoplasty were performed. As a result, the woman was almost unchanged in appearance, but visibly rejuvenated because of the raised facial tissues.
Patient #6 – 56 years old
In this case, specific anatomy and skin flabbiness resulted in sagging of the chin tissue and actually merging of the face and neck.
The woman underwent a face and neck lift with excision of excess skin and tissues to reshape her face. The woman also underwent lip augmentation and lipofilling (filling with fatty tissue) of the area under the eyes, which eliminated the effect of sunken eye sockets.
What more could we add? Plastic surgery has a great future! Now any elderly woman can transform her face and push back old age! All this undoubtedly gives confidence. And when a person is confident, he is more communicative and successful.
